Vintage Colt Detective Special Service Checkered Walnut with Silver Colt Medallion. These are Post 1966 Short D Frame Grips that were made in late 1960's & early 1970's for Colt. Fits the old DS frame below with straight bottom. (to convert to older version DS frame, remove back lip and redrill locatiing hole). These Grips will fit the newest and latest Colt DS Frame that has a radius in corner, but with gaps.
This frame fits other post-1966 short "D" frame revolvers: Detective Special, Diamondback, Police Positive Special, Cobra, Agent and Viper
